Once I postponed my train journey and cancelled my confirmed ticket. I got my refund money after deducting some cancellation charges from the ticket fare but the charges deducted was more than expected. I sent email to IRCTC to get the details of deduction charges and how they deduct cancellation charges. I realized that if we could know that how IRCTC deduct the charges from fare, it will help us to save our money.
So I developed this app which will help you to calculate your refund money. Here you can calculate approximate amount of refund with details of deductions for your waitlisted or confirmed or tatkal E-Ticket.
