A free, simple yet powerful password protection app for your USB flash pen drive

In this post i will tell you how you can do more with your USB flash drive.

This tips works only with Max. 2GB or less capacity pendrive not more than that.

Some times you keep very sensitive data in your flash drive and you dont want other people to access your data without your permission. You can not keep eye 24 hours on unauthorize access so password protection is a very easy way to protect your pen drive.

Step#1: Download free version of USB safeguard from here.

Step#2: After download, unzip downloaded file and copy unzipped file into your USB flash drive.

Step#3: Double click on usbsafeguard.exe.

Step#4: Click on agreement and set your password to lock your flash drive. it will ask you to keep a key in safe place. hit ok and your drive is locked. Also shows "USB LOCKED' status in drive name. This process also create a shortcut icon on desktop to access your pendrive.

To LOCK:
Press Ctrl+Alt+H or Double click on shortcut or open your pendrive and double clik on usbsafeguard.exe. it will open for open password dialoge box. Entre your passowrd or simply click on "Lock" button.

To UNLOCK:
Double click on shortcut or open your pendrive and double clik on usbsafeguard.exe. it will open for open password dialoge box. Entre your passowrd to unlock the drive.
